Febrile seizure

Posted by  shanice, Share

a febrile seizure is a convulsion in to the young children that may be a cause of a sudden spike in the body temperature, this is often times from the infection. fortunately the febrile seizures are not that really dangerous at all as they may look. the febrile seizure symptoms can be mild or severe. your child might experience a high fever that is usually higher than 102 F and even the lost of consciousness. shaking and jerking the arms and legs or on the both sides of the body can also be some symptoms and adding to that also is having trouble breathing.

it is not actually needed to lower down the child's fever to stop the febrile seizure. so, in this case never try to give child fever medication during seizure. most of the febrile seizures stop on their own within just a couple of minutes. if your child has a febrile seizure that will lasts for more than five minutes, call and emergency medical attention right away.
